“In the interest of safety, this weekend’s concerts in Knoxville and Charlottesville are being rescheduled due to forecasts of inclement weather. Friday night’s show in Knoxville, TN at the Thompson Boling Arena has been rescheduled for April 2nd, and Saturday night’s show in Charlottesville, VA at the JPJ Arena has been rescheduled for April 3rd. Tickets purchased for this weekend will be honored for the new dates.”

Contrary to previous reports, the Reba and George Knoxville and Charlottesville shows have not been canceled, rather rescheduled, with all tickets being valid for the new dates in the same seating location.

Buzz band Vampire Weekend is about to take a bite out of North America and Europe as they embark on a new world tour beginning February 5^th 2010. Vampire Weekend Contra Tour will feature a setlist comprising of songs from their second studio album of the same name, Contra. Korn and Rob Zombie will headline the 2010 Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival which kicks off this summer. A super 2010 playoff schedule has concluded with a super matchup for Super Bowl XLIV! The Indianapolis Colts will take on the New Orleans Saints in Miami at Dolphin Stadium on Feb 7th, 2010 with the Vince Lombardi trophy and NFL glory on the line.

Super Bowl 44 Overview: Coming off one of the most exciting NFC Championship games in NFL history Drew Brees leads Super Bowl newcomers The New Orleans Saints vs.  league MVP and 2007 Super Bowl Champion Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts. These were the two best teams in the NFL all season long and fittingly will meet with the NFL championship on the line. New Orleans boasts the NFL’s top offense but only the 25th ranked defense while Indy is more balanced with the 9th ranked offense and the 18th ranked defense. Needless to say this game should be about offense with the league’s best two quarterbacks on the field.

Super Bowl XLIV Prediction: So here are the big questions everyone wants answered. Who will win Super Bowl 44? What will the final score be? How will the winning TD be scored? After watching Brett Favre pants on the ground rant in the locker room one week ago it looked like his Vikings destined to win the ’10 Super Bowl. Well fate took an ugly turn and now its New Orleans that looks like the team that has destiny on its side.

After Hurrican Katrina devastated the city of New Orleans five years ago the Saints were homeless and basically left for dead. Well now the “Aints” have a home the first weekend of February in Miami and ultimately a home in Canton after they win Super Bowl 44. The Colts are great. Peyton Manning is great. Reggie Wayne is great. Dallas Clark is great. Their defense and running games… Not so great. And its an awful lot to expect youngsters Pierre Garcon and Austin Colle to duplicate their 100 yard performances from the AFC Championship on football’s largest stage.

The bottom line here is in a game that will come down to who can outscore who, New Orleans just has the better offense. Reggie Bush is running like he did at USC, Drew Brees has been lights out all year, and the receiving corp features a balanced attack led by Marques Colston, Jeremy Shockey, and Pierre Thomas out of the backfield. Manning is the games best competitor and will keep this game close, but we like the Saints to play the cliche Team Of Destiny role and give Sean Payton a Gatorade bath.

TM-LN are so desperate to push their merger through congress that Live Nation has reportedly offered to sell some of their venues for BELOW MARKET VALUE to Anschultz Entertainment Group (AEG). This is in response to AEG CEO and president Tim Leiweke calling the merger “troubling” and “not good for the industry.”

As a condition of selling these marked down venues Ticketmaster and Live Nation are asking AEG to drop their opposition to the merger. Isn’t this called corporate bribery?
