Mark McGwire Admits To Using Steroids
Mark McGwire just dropped a bombshell on Major League Baseball, finally owning up to that fact that he used steroids during his MLB career as a member of the Oakland Athletics and St. Louis Cardinals.
Mark McGwire steroids use was deemed “off and on” and for over a decade and was a key factor in him breaking the MLB home run record in 1998.
According to Big Mac, “I wish I had never touched steroids. It was foolish and it was a mistake. I truly apologize. Looking back, I wish I had never played during the steroid era.”
This revelation comes as McGwire returns to baseball as the Cardinals as a hitting coach and only received 21.9% of votes this year on the Hall of Fame Ballot.
So first Sammy Sosa admits to steroid use and now Mark McGwire was juiced… I guess you can throw out all the records of the late 1990s…

My friend and I were recently talking about how technology has become so integrated in our day to day lives. Reading this post makes me think back to that debate we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.I don’t mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside… I just hope that as memory gets less expensive, the possibility of downloading our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality.
