When you have a pair of hall of fame defenseman on the blue line like Lidstrom and Olympic hero Brian Rafalski, its hard to pick against them. When you have the one-two punch of Zetterberg and Datsyuk its even harder. The main question will be goaltending. And we just don’t see Jimmy Howard getting it done against explosive teams like the San Jose Sharks. We see history repeating itself in 2011, Detroit will lose to San Jose in the second round.
