Country rock worlds are colliding as Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow have announced a joint venture. A continuation of the Kid Rock Born Free Tour, the summer 2011 leg will feature Sheryl Crow as the opening act.

This newly released portion of the Born Free 2011 Tour includes almost 30 Kid Rock & Sheryl Crow concerts, and serves as a live extension of the duo’s latest collaboration, Collide. Kid Rock’s current jaunt has been one of the most successful tours of 2011 thus far, so, with Crow now on-board, the new shows will surely sell out in most major markets.

The 2011 Kid Rock Sheryl Crow tour schedule kicks off in Cincinnati, Ohio at The Riverbend on 7/2, and concludes in Houston, Texas at Woodlands Pavilion on 9/3. Additional 2011 Born Free Kid Rock Sheryl Crow tour dates include concerts in Boston, Massachusetts at Comcast Center on 7/9, Holmdel, New Jersey at PNC Bank Arts Center on 7/12, Buffalo, New York at Darien Lake on 7/13, San Jose, California at Shoreline on 7/29, Chicago, Illinois at First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre on 7/19, Los Angeles, California at Irvine Meadows/Verizon Wireless Amphitheater on 7/30, Chula Vista, California at Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre on 8/2, Virginia Beach, Virginia at Jiffy Lube live on 8/22, and Dallas, Texas at Gexa Energy Pavilion on 9/2.
