The annual KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas shows are coming to Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City on Dec 12th & 13th. The National Hockey League is running a new promotion on Twitter: The #NHLPick15 contest gives fans a chance to win free tickets to a hockey game of their choice. To enter simply tweet to @NHL, pick who you think will win all 15 match-ups on October 3rd, and end with #NHLPick15. Total penalty minutes makes for an interesting tie breaker as well.

Very nice concept and huge props to the NHL for embracing and using social media. Wonder what they have up their sleeves for NHL All-Star tickets or Stanley Cup playoffs?
