The headline says it all and yes this is a TRUE STORY!
Crazy Philadelphia Phillies fan Susan Finkelstein faces criminal charges for allegedly soliciting sex for World Series tickets in the following Craigslist ad:
“DESPERATE BLONDE NEEDS WS TIX (Philadelphia)
“Diehard Phillies fan–gorgeous tall buxom blonde– in desperate need of two World Series Tickets. Price negotiable— I’m the creative type! Maybe we can help each other!”
Finkelstein vehemently denies the charges joking, “I was hoping to get cheap tickets and maybe meet someone, talk, bat my eyelashes, and maybe get some tickets.”
Her lawyer claims, “Nothing happened here. Police jumped the gun on this case, and I’m confident that Mrs. Finkelstein will be acquitted if this goes to trial.”
As fate would have it this new Internet celebrity’s email was flooded with ticket requests and she ended up seeing the Phillies beat the Yankees 6-1 last night at game 1 of the World Series at the New Yankee Stadium.
And just to clarify in case this story is giving you ideas – no, sex cannot be offered as payment on SaveFans! If you want to buy World Series tickets our sellers are open to negotiation – but please… Cash or Credit Card only!
