2010 NFL Season Preview – Minnesota Vikings

Thursday, August 19th, 2010

Minnesota Vikings 2010-11 Schedule Vikings NFL Football TicketsOur 2010 NFL preview continues with a team that was one snap away from a Super Bowl appearance last year, the Minnesota Vikings. When discussing the Vikings, the invertible question comes to mind – will Brett Favre play this season or finally stay retired? After the usual back and forth banter, Favre has come to the usual conclusion. The 40 year old veteran will return for one “final” season in 2010. Favre’s decision to play for the Vikes this year immediately catapults them to the top of the NFC North, one step ahead of his old team, the Green Bay Packers, and right in the mix for the NFC Championship with the Saints and Cowboys. What will ultimately separate the Vikings from the rest of the class of the NFC is the play of 4th year running back, Adrian Peterson. Peterson was widely considered the top pick in fantasy football two seasons ago, but is now thought of as second fiddle to Chris Johnson. If Adrian Peterson can cure his fumble issues and regain his form as the best backfield player in the NFL, and Jared Allen can once again anchor a top-tier defense, then we have the purple and gold penciled in for a spot in the Super Bowl in Dallas. If not, than expect the Vikings to bow out early in the playoffs, and probably never see Brett Favre again until his gives his Hall of Fame acceptance speech in Canton.

QB Brett Favre Signs With The Minnesota Vikings

Tuesday, August 18th, 2009

Brett Favre Signs With The Minnesota Vikings.Brett Favre is consistently inconsistent. Last year the question heard around the NFL was is Brett a member of the Green Bay Packers, is he retired, or is he a part of The New York Jets? This year’s story sounded eerily similar… Jets, retired… Now… unretired… Minnesota Vikings.

An off season with more drama than an episode of the Young and the Restless concluded today as Favre signed a 2 year/ $25 million contract with Minnesota. Favre already attended practice and plans to join Adrian Peterson in the Vikes’ starting backfield this Friday against the Kansas City Chiefs.

So if you want to see Brett rock the purple and gold check him out live at the Metrodome this season and pay what you want for Minnesota Vikings tickets at SaveFans!

Or Even Better…

Check out what could be the NFL’s most talked about game of the year as Favre returns to the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field:
